MUSIC PRODUCTION & COMPOSITION

Over the past 20 years, music producing partners Aaron Kaplan and Andrew Troy have worked extensively as music producers and composers also owning and operating world class recording studios including: REVOLVER RECORDINGS in Costa Mesa and Hollywood; ICON RECORDING STUDIOS in Hollywood, formerly the original Hanna Barbera Studios; and ARK STUDIOS in Torrance and Santa Monica located at REMOTE CONTROL the prestigious Hans Zimmer studio complex.

In addition, both Aaron and Andrew are highly skilled recording engineers, mixing engineers, protools editors, and technical engineers who have worked at some of the top recording studios in the United States with renown music producers including Hans Zimmer, Robbie Adams, Rich Costey, Jim Monroe, Cameron Webb, Andy Johns, Lorne Balfe, Klaus Badelt, Daniel Rojas, Craig Nepp, Biff VIncent, John Swihart, Ron Goudie, Michael Hapholt, Marty Beal, Bob Michaels, Kid Congo, Kevin Haskins,Greg Collins, Jeff Moleski, Ken Scott, Stephen Stuart Short, Jeff Lynn, Helic Hadar, Michael Patterson, Paul Logas, Bjorn Thorsrund, Tony Pappas, Mikal Blue, Jerry Finn, Charlie Watts and acousticians Carl Yanchar, VIncent Van Haff, Steve Cocoa Brandon, and Dolby Laboratories.

SOund design

Since 2003, film producer Andrew Troy has owned and operated 3 major production and post production facilities including TROY ENTERTAINMENT STUDIOS and THE PARK ENTERTAINMENT in Hollywood, West Hollywood and Santa Monica. Troy has worked extensively as a post production supervisor and supervising sound editor creating and delivering theatrical level sound production and sound design on over 65 feature films, documentaries, and various television series for companies including Sony, Columbia Tri-Star, Newline Cinema, 20th Century Fox, Dream Works, HBO, BBC, Millennium, Nu Image, WE tv, WWE Studios, Turner Broadcasting, Discovery, and the Natural Resources Defense Council.

In addition, Since 2005, Andrew has been working steadily as a commercial producer and director simultaneously overseeing and executing all areas of post production, sound production, and sound design for brands including Electronic Arts, Adidas, Pink Berry, U.S. Health Works, Wells Fargo Bank, Creative Care, Southern California Edison, Izze Soda, and the Snoqualmie, Pauma, & Morongo Indian Casinos.

Since the inception of the reality format, Aaron Kaplan has created the underscore for all manner of reality television and docu-drama series including some of the genre’s biggest hits. Kaplan, having worked in tandem with many directors, show-runners, editors, mixers and professionals throughout the entertainment industry, utilized his direct knowledge and experience within this specific market to help develop the BRAND NEW DAY music library that was designed to serve the action on-screen where our catalogue is organized in a way that makes searching for the perfect cue seamless and time effective. This curated collection has been developed over many years in order to meet the many demands of the television and film industry - from score to source music and across the full emotional spectrum reflected within the context of a production, we cover a broad variety of music with the utmost attention to quality, craftsmanship, and authenticity.
